- One specimen is secured to a scotch yoke drive system; wrapped on a hexagonal bar and a weight fixed to the bottom of the sample.
Abrasion resistance is measured by subjecting the hexagonal bar to reciprocal unidirectional friction.
Taber's Model 5820 Webbing Abrasion Tester is used to determine the abrasion resistance of automotive seat belts and other webbing materials. -
